Chicken & Basil Dumplings

Taking the traditional dumpling to a new level, the chicken and fresh Thai basil is a bright new flavor combination, and with our signature sauce, you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients
Filling: All natural chicken, cabbage, ginger, fresh Thai basil, naturally brewed soy sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salty), sesame oil, sugar and spices. Wrapper: All purpose flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin, riboflavin, folic acid), water and sea salt.
All natural – no preservatives. (Lime Soy Sauce Included)

Cooking Instructions (from frozen):

Steam & Pan-Fry in one Step:
  1. Do not defrost. Heat approximately 1.5 tablespoons of oil in a medium size non-stick frying pan over high heat.
  2. Carefully place frozen dumplings flat side down into frying pan & cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add 1.5 cups of water (not more than half the height of dumplings) and cover, cook on high heat approximately 8-10 min, or until water evaporates & the bottom of dumplings turn golden brown (if you prefer, you may steam them first then fry them until bottom of the dumplings become golden brown).
To Steam Only:
Do not defrost. Place dumplings on lightly oiled strainer (Vegetable Steamer) over pot of water OR a layer of wide leaf green, like iceberg lettuce, Romaine lettuce or Napa cabbage between the dumplings and steamer and steam 8-10 minutes.
To Boil:
Do not defrost. Place Frozen dumplings in a pot of boiling water, lightly stir with spoon to keep dumplings from sticking to the pot. Boil on high for about 7-8 minutes. (Optional, for best taste: gently place cooked dumplings into a lightly oiled non-stick pan, cook for 1 min. at medium heat, or until golden brown)
